Inline & Skate Park

Overview

The Guidant John Rose OVAL is a unique outdoor recreation facility with 110,000 square feet of space. From early May through September, the OVAL is used for inline skating and hosts an aggressive skate park. OVAL inline & skate park is free to the public. Hours vary depending on sunset times, special events and programs we may be hosting. Public can view our monthly public skating schedules for specific hours.

Roseville Parks & Recreation does offer programming and special events on the OVAL during spring, summer & fall months. Please see information below or visit the City website for additional information.

Summer Skateboard Camps

Beginner and intermediate skateboarders ages 6 to 15 are invited to sign up to learn techniques and secrets from the 3rd Lair Demo Team and staff of instructors. Camps take place out on the OVAL Skate Park equipment. Full week camps and 3-day camps available.

Summer Inline Camps

Youth ages 6-13 are invited to join us for a week of inline skating! Instructors will take you through the basics and help you learn the great sport of inline skating & racing. Helmet & wrist guards REQUIRED. Inline skates available and included in overall cost.

Summer Inline Series

Hosted by Greater MN Speedskating Association (GMSA). The events will run from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday nights beginning June 12 through August 14, 2024. Racing will be free of charge.  

Proficient skaters of all ages are welcome. Helmets are required. Wrist guards or sliders recommended.

Public Skating

Our inline and skate park is open to the public from May through early October. Admission is free.

OVAL may be closed for programs, events or weather. Please check the public schedules for public skating times.
